How to perform

  1. Adjust the machine so shoulder pads rest comfortably
  2. Place balls of your feet on the platform edge; heels hanging off
  3. Toes forward, feet hip-width; knees straight but not locked
  4. Brace your core and keep your hips and torso steady
  5. Lower your heels slowly for a deep calf stretch
  6. Press through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible
  7. Pause and squeeze at the top; lower under control
  8. Use a weight you can control; no bouncing or using momentum
