How to perform
- Adjust the machine so shoulder pads rest comfortably
- Place balls of your feet on the platform edge; heels hanging off
- Toes forward, feet hip-width; knees straight but not locked
- Brace your core and keep your hips and torso steady
- Lower your heels slowly for a deep calf stretch
- Press through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible
- Pause and squeeze at the top; lower under control
- Use a weight you can control; no bouncing or using momentum
